Katie is the greatest coordinator we could have asked for! She made herself readily available prior to our wedding, making sure to gather every detail, coordinate with vendors, and she even created us a very handy wedding booklet consisting of different schedules and details for various wedding members, like a separate guide for the bride/groom, for the wedding party, and for each vendor. On the day of the wedding, Katie took charge effortlessly and made sure everything was in place, while also actively responding to issues that arose. She really knows her stuff--from needing little guidance to decorate the space to being able to fix my makeup after first look-tears were shed, she was constantly on the ball! On top of being extraordinarily thorough and knowledgeable, Katie is also very kind--all of us grew very, very fond of Katie! I would recommend Katie to EVERYONE if I could!!!

How Much Time Do We Spend With You?

Unlike many other wedding planning companies, Palmetto River Planning offers unlimited communication with couples, allowing you to reach out as often as you'd like. They also proactively check in throughout the planning process, with guaranteed touchpoints around six and two weeks before the wedding to ensure every detail is covered. Communication frequency increases based on the selected package, offering a truly personalized and attentive experience.

Do You Charge A Travel Fee?

Palmetto River Planning charges a travel fee for events more than 1.5 hours from Trenton, SC. A standard $300 lodging fee applies for safety, but we don’t charge for gas or food. Events over 5 hours away may incur a higher fee, which will be communicated upfront.

How Does The Booking Process Look?
A
Once you receive your official proposal, Palmetto River Planning will reserve your date for two weeks giving you time to decide if we’re the right fit. If you choose to move forward with us (and we truly hope you do!), a 25% deposit and signed contract are required, with the remaining balance due two weeks before the event. We’re happy to discuss flexible payment plans to make things as easy and stress-free as possible!

How Many Coordinators Will Be At This Event?

All Palmetto River Planning coordinators are professionally trained and able to manage events solo. The Palmetto Package and above includes at least two coordinators. For other packages, the number of coordinators depends on your event’s size and complexity—we’ll advise you at booking, and you’re always welcome to request additional support.
