Katie Dorsey Cole
Founder & Head Planner
Katie has been planning weddings and events since 2021 and decided to establish her own business, Palmetto River Planning, in the spring of 2024. She is honest, trustworthy, dedicated, and is known for her attentiveness to detail. She strives for her personal attributes to be consistent with her company's core values. Her passion for the industry shines through in her personal goal: to welcome every couple into the Palmetto River family and create a stress-free, unforgettable celebration just for them.
Kylee Patterson
Assistant Planner
After planning her own wedding in just three months, Kylee discovered a passion for the wedding industry and a newfound appreciation for all the work that goes into creating a beautiful celebration. She joined Palmetto River Planning in February 2026 and has loved becoming part of the team ever since. Kylee especially enjoys helping couples bring their unique visions to life and being part of the little moments that make their wedding day so special. She’s excited to continue growing in the industry and creating unforgettable experiences for every couple she works with.
Eryka Harrison
Lead Coordinator
Since joining Palmetto River Planning in February 2026, Eryka has been fortunate to discover a career in the wedding industry that she truly loves. She especially enjoys helping take the stress off couples and being part of such a meaningful day in their lives.
Her favorite moments are watching the dances and seeing the love shared between couples, their parents, and their families. Originally from Wisconsin, Eryka moved South in search of warmer weather—and she definitely found it! She’s still getting used to the humidity, but she couldn’t be happier to be part of the Palmetto River Planning team and is excited for all that’s ahead.
Allyson Newsome
Marketing Manager & Content Creator
Allyson joined Palmetto River Planning at the beginning of Spring 2025. She is passionate about wedding planning and marketing and brings a new outlook. While new to the world of wedding planning industry, she is excited to bring her attention to detail, creativity, and organizational skills to the team. With a background in marketing, Allyson is looking forward to creating and sharing content that showcases the magic of each event. From picture-perfect details to the behind-the-scenes moments, she can't wait to meet couples and bring their dreams to life!
Zoe Oavres
Decor Assistant
As a Decor Assistant with Palmetto River Planning since February 2026, Zoe has loved the creative and detail-oriented side of the wedding industry. She especially enjoys the behind-the-scenes work that brings each event together and takes pride in making sure every detail is thoughtfully prepared.
With her organization, creativity, patience, and eye for detail, Zoe is excited to continue growing in the industry, learning from the PRP team, and helping create beautiful and memorable experiences for every couple.
Megan Bradley
Coordinator
Megan began assisting with weddings and event planning in 2024 before joining the Palmetto River Planning team in 2026. She loves bringing couples’ ideas to life and is passionate about creating meaningful experiences for them and their families.
With her genuine care for clients and a strong attention to detail, Megan is dedicated to making every celebration feel special and thoughtfully planned. She’s excited to be part of a team that turns important moments into unforgettable memories.
Kristen Coward
Coordinator
Kristen joined the Palmetto River Planning team in 2026 with a passion for creativity, helping others, and bringing ideas to life. She loves weddings because of the meaning behind them and, of course, because she truly loves love!
She loves bringing ideas to life and making sure all the little details come together to create a celebration that feels uniquely theirs. She’s excited to grow with PRP, learn from every wedding and the incredible people around her, and help create the kind of moments couples and their families will remember for years to come.
